Description
The Musée de la Nacre et de la Tabletterie is pleased to offer its visitors a unique opportunity to go to the other side of the mirror.
From January 14 to June 21, 2015 see the temporary exhibition dedicated to works usually protected behind the closed doors of the reserve. Mother-of-pearl buttons, refined fans, finely worked ivory ... The art objects from the Museum's private collection illustrate both the great panorama of the technical virtuosities employed and the evolution of styles.

“An unprecedented opportunity to take advantage of these
rare treasures and for many unknown to the
general public, witnesses of an illustrious moment
of our history and that of the region. "
The Musée de la Nacre et de la Tabletterie practices an important acquisition policy so that the heritage left by our elders survives. Every day, it actively participates, through its workshops and exhibitions, in the preservation and transmission of a recognized local heritage which has made this territory the spearhead of a prosperous industry.
