The exhibition 20 years, a history of the future celebrates the creation of the Musée de la Nacre et de la Tabletterie and looks back on two decades of projects, acquisitions, exhibitions and transmission of heritage.
Collaborative workshops
Everyone is invited to participate in the future of the museum through collaborative workshops around the writing of the new Scientific and Cultural Project, a document defining the museum's strategy for the next ten years. Presentation of the operation "Participate in the future of the museum " Thursday 28 November at 6.30 p.m.

As part of the 20 Years, A History of the Future exhibition, the museum calls on you to exhibit your objects related to local history and the past of the Meruvian region! These loans will be displayed in rotation during the exhibition in order to educate visitors about heritage protection. To participate, please contact the museum.
Mother of pearl interpretation trail
Discover through a guided tour of the city of Méru, the major stages of industrialization in connection with the tabletterie. Emblematic places bear witness to the epic of industrialization: the Mercier button factory, the mansion of the Montraer factory, the workers' homes, the train station symbol of the industrial revolution ... A journey between history and memory of the company at the service of a know-how that is still alive. Organized by the Sablons en Pays de Nacre Tourist Office
