Shells, from science to kitsch
Picked up on beaches or eaten, decorative or mysterious, seashells bring together multiple species. The exhibition in its scientific section will provide a better understanding of this strange animal. Its use will also be presented, from natural curiosity to artistic inspiration, through many "extraordinary" objects. Finally, the exhibition will present the use of seashells as a raw material to create works by accumulation called "seaside memories" long considered kitsch.
